Workforce Development: The Economics of Essau
In light of the most recent attempts at Nationalized Education in America, “Workforce Development”, has taken on an Orwellian meaning. For those of Mindsight, it is a meaning with implications too clear to ignore.
When Economics replaced Liberty, the American people forsook their destiny for the yoke of slavery.
When the Chambers of Capitalism evolved into the Chambers of Communism (the collaboration of collectivism, commerce controlled by government), the chains were forged and the birthright of America was sold for a bowl of red stew.

When Corporate Capitalism devolves to Communism, the people are betrayed at the hands of their neighbors.
Recall that fascist Hitler implemented the same strategies as fascist Mussolini, and communists: Lenin, Stalin, and Mao. All of these leaders used Education of the youth, as their primary tool to instill their philosophical dominance to develop their nation’s “workforce.”
Hitler said, “He alone who owns the youth, gains the future.” Thus the infamous “Hitler Youth” began in 1922, many who participated rose to fill the ranks of the workforce, the military, and the Schutzstaffel (the SS).
In 1927 Mussolini established a Montessori teacher training college, and by 1929 the Italian government supported a wide range of Montessori institutions.
Lenin said, “Give me four years to teach the children and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.”
Mao Tse Tung, Communist leader of China, said, “Our Educational policy must enable everyone who receives an education to develop morally, intellectually, and physically and become a worker with both socialist consciousness and culture.”
Common Core and the Chambers of Commerce today, champion the P-20, Preschool through Workforce, “College and Career Ready” Workforce Development via Longitudinal Data Systems. These taxpayer funded data systems are tracking students, families, and schools and integrating with the business sector to create minions to fulfill the perceived needs of a global economy.
Indiana Representatives recently boasted of passing HEA 1002. The scope of HEA 1002 includes “the Indiana workforce intelligence system established by IC 22-4.5-10-3″
Specifically, IC 22-4.5-10.3 is defined as:
System established; purposes
Sec. 3. The Indiana workforce intelligence system is established as a statewide longitudinal data system that contains educational and Workforce information:
(1) from educational institutions at all levels; and
(2) about the state’s workforce;
to improve the effect of the state’s educational delivery system on the
Economic opportunities of individuals and the state’s workforce, and
to guide state and local decision makers.
Joy Pullmann, Education Research Fellow with The Heartland Institute, points out a quote from 2009:
“Issues of privacy, disclosure of information, the release of de-identified data for third party research, and others included in the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) have not been completely resolved among all parties. In many states, FERPA is interpreted in an overly restrictive manner–unnecessarily stifling sound research efforts. Indiana should avoid this problem.” (Indiana Chamber of Commerce, 2009 report)
How convenient for the Chamber of Commerce that the U.S. Department of Education changed FERPA in 2012, so that there is no longer any requirement to inform or to get parental consent to share any contents of student records.
Those that are intent on using public education, merely for Workforce development, have achieved an immediate goal. In addition to all educational records, once medical information is in school files, that information becomes an “education” record subject to FERPA.
This concerns not only public educated students. Through a quirk of the law, the records of home-schooled students are not protected by FERPA. Currently, report cards and other records of home-schooled children are considered public information if they have been shared with public school districts.
Hoosiers students and families are now “defenseless” against the invasion, access, and dissemination of their private, personal, and uniquely individual information.
This State Longitudinal Data System links directly to the Federal government database via the testing consortia used to provide “accountability.”* With all fifty states participating, all its tributaries, clouds and accessory links, this comprises the largest database yet known. This database pipeline not only displays personal and family data, but also, in alignment with Workforce development, communicates with private business, industry, corporations, and government. The Employers.
That’s the goal. Junior will not need to seek employment. Junior will be “developed” to fulfill a role in the workforce. Under the guise of Economic development, Global competitiveness of College and Career readiness, P-20, Preschool through Workforce,- Junior will be “developed” to “become a worker with both socialist consciousness and culture.”
The Chambers of business have also permitted the invasion into their formerly proprietorial realms. Thus sealing the Comintern goal of Karl Marx: dethroning God and destroying Capitalism.
It appears, that those who are intent to control education for the misguided purpose of Workforce development, have securely yoked both employer, and future employees- “the Capitalists and the Human Capital.”
This demands some questions.
When did citizens of The Republic give consent for this intrusion into, and sharing of their child’s and family’s personal data?
Who is harnessing the yoke on citizens and businesses under this mantra of “Economic security of workforce development”?
Who is in the driver’s seat, lashing the oxen, controlling their “destination”?
Who is building more barns, acquiring more terabytes for data analysis and manipulation to play king?
As Plato inspires we must ask, “Will the Drones, the Farmers, and the Rich, recognize the Tyrant and rally to prevent their own demise?”
Will the citizens, the business community, and the laborers recall the words of Socrates and
“ Order your souls first”, and
“Just living comes from Just thinking?”
Will the citizens rise up to transform education in America back to its original purpose; to develop a virtuous people capable of self-government in the Republic?
“Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”
And then He told them this parable:
“The ground of a certain rich man produced a good crop. He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’ “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I’ll say to myself, “you have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’

Will the people of “One nation under God” remember their King?

Has the Liberty of your heirs been sold for a bowl of stew, and the yoke of slavery via “workforce development”?
For our business friends who are struggling to employ an intelligent, ethical labor force, we suggest:
1. Look to the foundations that establish the principles and prerequisites of citizens eager to labor and be compensated for their efforts. Look to The Family to find your employees. Return to the principles of local self-government upon which our Free-enterprise has flourished.
2. Remove the Entitlement subsidies that progressively redistribute the wealth of businesses AND thereby removing the greatest motivation to labor: hunger.
All efforts aimed at Economic Development, are naught as private Business Employers cannot compete with “FREE.”
Toil and sweat bear no value in a people lacking: Individualism, Integrity, Moral Conscience, and Personal Responsibility.
These are the qualities that will provide the Workforce to develop a prosperous economy, reward for investment, and ensure the future of our Republic. These are the values that encourage a Patriotism that takes personal and corporate pride in a “job well done.”
These values are instilled by The Family. These values will not be established by the latest version of John Dewey’s Progressive education reforms.

*”If asked, your state officials may deny the Common Core requires the state to share student data with the federal government. While they may not be lying to you they aren’t being entirely honest as a result of semantics. Instead of the state sharing data it is the consortia providing access. The state isn’t required to share student-level data through the Common Core. The consortia are required to “provide timely and complete access to any and all data collected at the state level” to the federal government. So even the consortia are able to deny they are sharing student data with the federal government. They aren’t sharing in the sense of giving, rather they are providing access so the federal government can reach in and take whatever data they want whenever they want.
